"They were looking for an affordable place to live while they pursued their creative lifestyles.  When such a place surfaced in the small, sleepy, 1854 town of Mantorville, Minnesota, they bought it and settled in."  They were the movers of the town's re-birth, not by plan or design, but because they didn't know it couldn't be done." (re-printed from Welcome Back to Mantorville with the permission of the authors)

"Welcome back to Mantorville" is a wonderful collection of vignettes starring "the usual suspects" in small-town Minnesota.

You'll delight in meeting the characters, the "movers and shakers" and the rest of the populace as you explore a brief history of Mantorville's re-birth taking its rightful place as a Minnesota Tourist Destination.

American Queen  Ron Hunt is a premier artist whose works have included pen and ink and watercolor renderings of America's most beloved riverboats.  Now available as prints, his works include the Delta Queen, Mississippi Queen and American Queen riverboats.

Ron is delighted that the American Queen was recently purchased by a group of investors who plan a restoration followed by launching her again on the Mississippi!

The "Delta Queen Preservation Foundation" seeks to purchase the Delta Queen, the American Queens sister ship that is now docked in Chattanooga, TN and serves as a bed and breakfast.

The hope of the foundation is to restore the Delta Queen to its original splendor and to see her sail again on the rivers of America.
